How long does a website take?
A marketing site is usually weeks, not months. A web app with authentication, roles and real data is a different order of project. We scope it properly before quoting rather than guessing, and most projects start with a two-week fixed-fee architecture map that you keep whether or not you go ahead.
Can you work on our existing site rather than starting again?
Often, yes, and it is worth asking before you accept a rebuild. Plenty of what we are asked to fix is a stack that has simply outgrown its original purpose, and replacing the framework fixes nothing if the information architecture or the data model is the actual problem.
Who hosts it, and can we move?
Yours, on whichever host suits you, and you can move at any time. We set up hosting, CI/CD and monitoring as part of the build rather than as a service retainer, precisely so there is no dependency on us holding the keys.
