E-commerce development

Selling online is the easy part. Reconciling is the work.

Every store can take an order. The difference between a store that works and one that quietly loses money is whether orders, inventory, fulfilment and settlement actually agree with each other. We build e-commerce experiences connected end to end, so what the customer sees on the storefront matches what operations sees in the back office, and a sale means what it says it means.

Signs you are describing this problem badly and us well.

Any one of these is fixable. All four at once usually means the problem is structural, which is a better conversation to have early.

  • You sell, but orders still arrive by phone or chat.
  • You have oversold a product and had to apologise.
  • Settlement arrives and the numbers do not match the orders.
  • Changing a price or a product means emailing whoever built the site.

What e-commerce actually involves.

Storefront build and migration

Shopify, WooCommerce or headless, chosen on what you sell rather than on what is easiest to demo. Migration done once, properly, with the catalogue intact.

Order and inventory sync

Stock decrements on the platform that is authoritative, and the others follow. Overselling a product you do not have is the fastest way to lose a customer for good.

Checkout and local payments

Card, bank transfer and USSD paths set up for how people actually pay in Nigeria, including the settlement and reconciliation on the other side.

Merchant onboarding and operations tooling

The back office your team lives in all day. Adding a seller, fixing an order or issuing a refund should not require a developer.

Questions about e-commerce.

Should we use Shopify, WooCommerce or build something custom?

Shopify when your catalogue and process are conventional. WooCommerce when cost control or WordPress ownership matters. Headless when the storefront experience is the differentiator and you have the engineering to maintain it. We will tell you which fits and why, including when the honest answer is the cheapest option on the market.

Can you work with our existing store?

Yes, and frequently. Most stores we are asked to improve are functional and simply disconnected, so a shopper sees one thing and operations sees another. That is usually an integration and a few UX fixes rather than a rebuild, and it costs a fraction of one.

Do you handle payments and payouts?

We integrate the payment providers and build the reconciliation behind them, so what is owed reconciles against what was actually paid out. We do not hold funds or act as a merchant of record; that arrangement belongs with your payment provider.
